In May, this championship was held, organized by the Department of Education of the Generalitat de Catalunya and which for the first time included the Chemistry modality.

Catskills is the championship of Catalonia of Vocational Training where the students of professional educations of all the Catalan territory compete in 33 trades (skills) related to the studies that they are studying.

This event follows the initiative of the international competition “Worldskills Competition”, which has achieved great success in other countries. It is held every two years and can show the skills and professional skills of students enrolled in vocational training courses in Catalonia (each test has an age requirement).

Its main objective is to promote the high quality of Vocational Training studies that are carried out in different educational centers of the territory, while establishing collaborative networks between the centers, the participating teachers and the companies in the sector.
